The University of Oklahoma
The Renaissance Project
2006-2007
|
The Renaissance Project is a cooperative effort of students, faculty, administrators, and staff across The University of Oklahoma to engage in campus-wide discussion of the important issues and ideas of our time. Each year of the Renaissance Project will be devoted to a single, large, and encompassing theme, and the discussions and encounters of ideas will take place in classes, public symposia, lectures, and impromtu gathers. The goal of the project is to renew our intellectual community as we begin anew each year to discuss the great ideas that define our era.
The theme for 2006-2007 is:
Science, Technology & Ethics.
