Biological Spill Clean up Kit
1. Latex gloves (several pairs can be used for double gloving)
2. Small disposable broom with dustpan, tongs or forceps
3. Red medical waste bags
4. Disinfectant agent suitable for the biologically hazardous materials found in lab.
5. Paper towels or other absorbent material.
6. Diking material or spill pillows for large spills
7. Goggles or face shield that prevents splashing.
8. Shoe covers
9. Spill control and cleanup procedures.
All of these items can be stored in a five- (5) gallon bucket with lid. The bucket can also serve as a container for mixing disinfectant used in the clean up.
Label your container indicating this is a Biological Spill Kit.
