Scholarships
Air Force ROTC has a variety of financial incentives that can relieve the expense of earning an education. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of high school students, current college students, and individuals presently serving on Air Force active duty in the enlisted ranks.
For a great AFROTC overview, detailed scholarship information (and online application) click here.
Rated Selection
Det 675 had 4 pilots and 1 navigator selected in the 2008 pilot, Combat Systems Officer (formerly navigator) and Air Battle Manager categorization process--congratulations to all of this year's selects! Det 675's selection rate for the 3rd year exceeds the AFROTC average!! This year's select rate was 62.5%, while the past two years were 100%.
Enlisted Commissioning
Air Force ROTC has several programs to help you earn your commission. AECP, ASCP, SOAR, POC-ERP, we can help with them all. Click here for more information. OU has many prior-enlisted cadets (and even some still active duty) using these programs NOW. Don't qualify for one of those enlisted programs? Call us to hear how AFROTC might still be an option for you!
Degree Plan
Form 48 blanks can be found here. While it includes instructions, call us if you have any questions on completing it.
Tuition Waivers
Det 675 has OU tuition waiver scholarships available based on need and merit. These are given each semester to cadets in each year of the program. Special consideration is given to those here on AF scholarship that haven't activated yet. Applications will be taken starting the first week of school each semester. The applications are available in the administrative area of the detachment or you can download it here and print it out or e-mail it. The application must be submitted to the Unit Admissions Officer by close of business on Thursday, the third week of OU classes each semester.
Alumni
Due to limitations beyond our control, this site is unable to host the very popular alumni directory or even provide a link to the various Det 675 alumni group pages that exist. We encourage all alumni to stay in contact with the detachment and be involved in our activities. We can provide information on how to contact the Det 675 Alumni Group. Note we also have a Det 675 History room, so if you'll be in the area, please contact us to arrange a visit.
