From Lieutenant Colonel Kennan D. Horn, Professor of Military Science:
"I just got approval from the President of our Alumni Association to give a $1,000 signing bonus to the first three high school nursing students who sign up with OU Army ROTC and meet the following criteria:
3.7 high school GPA
28 ACT
Meet Army height/weight standards (must be done between 20 July and 21 August of signing year)
Pass Army Physical Fitness Test (must be done between 20 Jul and 21 Aug of signing year)
By maintaining a 3.25 GPA each semester after completion of their freshman year they will be paid an additional $500 to use as needed.
Additionally, our Alumni Association is paying a private tutor to work with our nurses and pre-med students."
