Scholarship
2, 3, and 4-year scholarships are available to nursing students
All scholarships provide:
Tuition/fees: 100% tuition and mandatory fees - no cap!
Books: $1200 per year
Monthly tax-free stipend during the school year. ($300/month as a freshman, $350/month as a sophomore, $450/month as a junior, $500/month as a senior)
Criteria for Scholarships:
- United States Citizenship
- High School Graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Minimum SAT of 1050 or ACT of 21
- Physically fit and medically qualified
- Under 31 years of age on 30 June of the year you graduate from college (waiverable)
- Good moral character
Additional Benefit: ROTC Alumni Association Nursing Bonus
$1,000 signing bonus to the first three High School Nursing prospects to contract and meet the following criteria:
- 3.7 H.S. GPA
- 28 ACT
- Meet Ht/Wt (must be done between 20 Jul and 21 Aug of contracting year)
- Pass APFT (must be done between 20 Jul and 21 Aug of contracting year)
By maintaining a 3.25 each semester after completion of their freshman year they will be paid an additional $500 to use as needed.
Non-Scholarship
Don't qualify for a scholarship? Students can participate in ROTC without a scholarship, and still receive a monthly stipend starting their junior year, currently $450 per month (up to $4,500 per year) for their junior and $500 their senior year. That's why Army ROTC is known as "the only college class that pays you."
