January 2007 Leadership Laboratory

The pictures in this section, mostly taken during the winter of 2007, show on-campus training conducted during the leadership lab. While leadership lab training may include other hands-on activities such as unit movements, land navigation, small unit tactical exercises, and fieldcraft, most of the pictures in this section show cadets completing an improvised field leader's reaction course, or FLRC. The FLRC presents cadets with non-standard problems, both physical and otherwise, for which there is neither established doctrine nor an obvious solution. Cadet leaders must then successfully solve the problems, demonstrating positive leadership attributes and following the appropriate troop leading procedures while so doing.

Other pictures include land navigation training and the Ranger Challenge Team's fall 2006 field training exercise, which involved aerial movement to their training site.
