May 2007 Golden Knights Visit

Last May, the Army parachute team, the Golden Knights, visited the annual airshow held at Tinker Air Force Base near Oklahoma City. Among the attendees was David Kelso, a local radio station DJ for 107.7 FM KRXO and host of a popular evening drive time program. Thanks to the coordination efforts of the Army ROTC unit at the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Kelso was able to conduct a tandem jump with the Golden Knights.
We were pleased to have coordinated the jump for Mr. Kelso, who has shown nothing but unwavering support for men and women in uniform. We appreciate his two unsolicited visits to Soldiers and Marines in Iraq and frequent endorsement on his radio program of the Armed Forces and those serving in them.
