October 2007 Halloween Run

The Sooner Battalion Halloween Run is a unique event held on or about October 31st of every year. Cadets are allowed and encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to morning physical fitness training, which is replaced by a costume contest and a short run around campus while in costume. Although the origins of the tradition are unclear, the Halloween Run remains popular, with most cadets choosing to participate in this fun event. Popular past costumes have included characters from movies and television, superheroes, ghosts, and Sooner Battalion senior military instructors.
