Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for any type of scholarship, one must meet the following basic requirements:
-Hold US Citizenship
-Be no more than 31 years old by 31 December of the year one graduates from college.
-Be a full-time student at the University of Oklahoma, an incoming freshman, or a transfer student pursuing a bachelor, master's, or doctoral degree.
-Have a college GPA of at least 2.5 and maintain a 2.0 GPA each semester after receiving a scholarship.
-Agree to accept a commission in the United States Army upon graduation.
-Meet physical fitness requirements, being able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test with a minimum score of 180 (60 in each event).
-Meet medical and health requirements.
-Participate in leadership and extracurricular activities.
-Maintain a GPA of 3.0 in all military science courses.
-Meet dependency requirements.
-Have no prior civil convictions, excluding a reasonable number of minor traffic violations.
-Be properly released or transferred from any military unit with which you currently serve.
