Student Life in NROTC

As a member of the NROTC you will be a part of a close family and will have the opportunity to develop as a student, leader, and as a member of the community.  You will have the opportunity to travel each summer as a Midshipmen to experience military life and career options in the Navy and Marine Corps.  During the school year, you will sharpen your mind and your body as you undergo officer development – in order to prepare yourself to lead the men and women of our Navy and Marine Corps.

NROTC Life is not all work and studies…  You will have fun too!  As a Midshipmen, you will have the opportunity to participate in NROTC activities such as Color Guard, Drill Team, and a host of other activities.  Many of these activities will allow you to travel with your fellow midshipmen to places like Dallas, Texas and Boulder, Colorado to name a few in order to compete and enjoy the camaraderie of other NROTC midshipmen from other colleges and universities.

Each year, you will have the opportunity to participate in special events such as the Dining-In, Joint Military Ball, Navy and Marine Corps Ball, OU-Texas Football Run, Toys for Tots, Commander’s Cup, and a host of other special events that will make your time as a Midshipmen enjoyable and memorable.

Come aboard and join us!
