National Weather Center
120 David L. Boren Blvd
The National Weather Center is comprised of multiple agencies from the ederal, state and local levels, combined with academic entitles as well as research and development partners. These organizations work together in partnership to improve understanding of events occurring in the Earth's atmosphere over a wide range of time and space scales. The NWC houses approximately 550 people. This includes research scientists, operational meteorologists and climatologists, engineers, technicians, support staff, and graduate and undergraduate students.
If you would like to scheudle a tour, be sure to schedule a week or two in advance, as spots fill up quickly! Because the NWC houses federal offices, tours must be scheduled in advance: walk in tours are not permitted. Visit their website for more information.
