One of the university community's favorite traditions, CAC Homecoming captures a unique sense of Sooner spirit in a week of activities, culminating with the Homecoming parade, football game and royalty coronation.
Homecoming Week Events
Sunday, October 21, 2018: Glowchella
South Oval, 7pm
Kick off Homecoming week with an exciting evening brought ot you be Class Council and CAC Concert Series. Check out fun food trucks and activities while listening to a free concert provided by local artists.
Monday, October 22, 2018: Trivia & Game Night
Location TBA, OMU, 7pm
Come out for a fun night full of pop trivia courtesy of CAC College Bowl and the office of Graduate Student Life! Each group will be entering participating teams for a pop trivia tournament with winners in each student organization category: large male, large female, and co-ed/small group. Thrilling Escape Rooms will also be present ofr individuals to participate in courtesy of the Union Programming Board. Anyone is welcome, whether you are in a competing group or not! No previous registration is required.
Tuesday, October 23, 2018: Homecoming "Floats" with UPB
Union Courtyard, 12pm
Join the Union Programming Board for free ice cream/soda floats in honor of the Parade floats that will be cruising down Boyd Street on Saturday.
Sark After Dark
Sarkeys Fitness Center, 6-10pm
Join your friends on the court for a friendly game of basketball OR volleyball at Sarkeys! Teams can only consist of members from one group, with each group participating in one sport only, and each sport will be split into five categories: Large Male, Large Female, and co-ed/small group. Registration is required to be placed in a bracket, and make sure to fill out a wavier for each participant ahead of time!
Wednesday, October 24, 2018: "Fill the Oval" Philanthropy Event
South Oval, 12-2pm
Celebrate OU's spirit of service during our annual "Fill the Oval" extravaganza! Donate some spare change or simply come out to learn more about CAC's official philanthropy, Soonerthon, benefiting the Children's Miracle Network Hospital in Oklahoma City. In the mood for a good laugh? Stop by the dunk tank on the South Oval to try and dunk someone into the water! A small volunteer fair will also occur for those interested in learning more about service on campus and around Norman.

Visit the OU Alumni Association and join in on thanking our alumni and friends by signing a banner that will be displayed in front of the Oklahoma Memorial Union throughout Homecoming Reunion Weekent.
Sidewalk Chalk Competition
Michael R. Price Walkway, 1:30-3:30pm
Walk along the Price Walkway to see a beautiful gallery of chalk art, created by OU's very own students! Each group will be assigned a theme that they must portray, so don't miss the chance to check out their creativity and hard work.
Alumni Speaker Event

Presented by CAC Speaker's Bureau, hear firsthand from an esteemed alumnus of the University of Oklahoma about where life has taken them since they graduated and the aspects of their Sooner experience that made them who they are today.
Homecoming Benefit Night

Support CAC Soonerthon and the Children's Miracle Network by attending a benefit night at Fuzzy's from 5-8pm, Qdoba from 5-9pm, Baked Bear from 6-10pm, and Louie's from 6-10pm.

Enjoy lunch with former classmates and friends and listen to President Jim Gallogly speak as we honor the class of 1968 with their 50 year medallion.
College Receptions and Tours
Afternoon is a great time to visit your college for a tour, showcase, or reception and visit with current faculty and students. (A complete list will be available on Friday of Reunion).
***The GCoE will host a reception on the fifth-floor terrace of Devon Energy Hall beginning at 2pm. We will also offer construction tours of Gallogly Hall and tours of ExxonMobil Lawrence G. Rawl Engineering Practice Facility to show off our student competition teams. Our inclement weather backup venue is the Devon Energy Hall first-floor atrium. Anyone interested in taking a tour of Gallogly Hall will need to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.
OU Ring Ceremony

Join the Student Alumni Association and OU Alumni Association for the annual OU Ring Ceremony. Students and alumni who have ordered their OU Ring in 2018 are invited to attend. Family and friends are also invited to join this symbolic tradition. Register here.

Cocktails and conversations. Memories and milestones. Join the OU Alumni Assocation for the annual Pre-Rally Ruckus! Enjoy a social hour full of food and drink before OU's spectacular Rah! Rally. Pre-registration is encouraged. Limited parking is available to guests at the southeast corner of the Lloyd Noble Center parking lot. Head to the pep rally with us after for special alumni seating! Make your way to Lloyd Noble Center to check out some great performances put on by different OU groups. Each student group will perform a two-minute dance piece full of exciting choeography according to their theme, and you won't want to miss it. The Rah! Rally will also feature appearances from OU Spirit, the Pride of Oklahoma, OU Athletics team, and other students and staff competitions.
Saturday, October 27, 2018: Homecoming Parade

One of Homecoming's oldest traditions, the Homecoming Parade features dozens of student groups, OU faculty, and members of the OU community in their annual procession down Boyd street. Don't miss the chance to see exciting floats, Homecoming royalty court, and many others in this massive celebration of Sooner Spirit.
Royalty Coronation, Winners Announced:
OU Stadium, Halftime of game
Witness the presentation of the individuals composing OU's annual Homecoming Royalty court, culminating with th ehistoric coronation of the King and Queen. Winners of the student Homecoming competitions will also be announced on the screen during halftime.

The following criteria must be met before acceptance into Royalty competition:
1. All nominees must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average.
2. All nominees must be enrolled as a full-time student of the University of Oklahoma and be a fourth or fifth year undergraduate senior.
3. Prior royalty court members may not be nominated by an organization as a candidate.
4. Candidates must be nominated by a student organization. Each organization may nominate one king candidate and/or one queen candidate. Co-ed organizations are allowed to nominate both a King and Queen candidate.
