Roundtables

roundtableRoundtables are periodical sessions where emerging entrepreneurs present their ideas to receive advice and help from a group of SLP mentors. Mentors are: Entrepreneurship and Price College faculty, CCEW and Office of Technology Development staff, senior executives, and successful entrepreneurs.

The mission of SLP Roundtables is to provide emerging entrepreneurs with strategic feedback and resources. These include contacts and/or student support via the Entrepreneurship Field Studies course at the OU Price College of Business (determined on a case-by-case basis). Emerging entrepreneurs and companies are encouraged to come back several times during their formation and launch stage.

Based on the stage of development of the entrepreneur's idea roundtable presentations fall into two categories:

  • Idea Pitch
For presenters who are just starting to explore a new business idea and need general advice about how to move forward. To participate, presenters must fill out a deck of 5 slides.
  • Business Pitch
For presenters who have developed a business model based on their idea and have specific questions about different components of their business model. To participate, presenters must fill out a deck of 10 slides.
