  • Academic Interests: With a masters degree in educational philosophy, I remain interested in what constitutes “knowledge” and its’ link to educational curriculum.  My long-term sociological interests are inequality, minority groups, mobility and education.

Courses Taught: Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, Minority and Ethnic Groups, Social Stratification, Sociology of Family, Internship in Criminology, Capstone in General Sociology.

  • After serving as the departmental advisor for nearly a decade, I look forward to returning to the classroom full time in the fall of 2008.  I plan on revisiting educational issues as they relate to Native Americans, social mobility and “knowledge.”
