As a Sociology major, you are also an Arts and Sciences student. Your advising is done by your departmental advisor within your major. You should see your advisor when you have questions about your academic plan and before registration. The Sociology advisor is Debra Hensley-Luczycki (deb@ou.edu).
ADVISING SESSION PREPARATION - Your advising session will go much smoother if you take some time to plan your schedule before coming to your appointment.
Look over the Degree Check sheet and the
Class Schedule to plan your upcoming semester. You can create a trial schedule on ‘Enroll’and we can look at it with you to help determine if the classes you’ve selected will allow you to make appropriate progress toward your sociology degree.
WATCH YOUR EMAIL: All Sociology majors are notified about the advising schedule by email in October for spring advising, and March for summer and fall advising.
