Pipeline to Politics

Pipeline to Politics is an educational initiative sponsored by the Carl Albert  Center’s Women’s Leadership Program at the University of Oklahoma. The Pipeline Project is designed primarily for women who are beyond college, already in the workforce, who are interested in increasing their political involvement. The program informs participants about political and other leadership opportunities, educates them about the issues involved in putting together a winning campaign and encourages them to run for office, work on a campaign or become civically involved in other ways.  The goal of this nonpartisan program is to address the historic under-representation of women in politics and public life by providing participants with necessary tools to enter, stay in and emerge from the political pipeline.
