ADDITIONS TO THE COLLECTION (1861-1906 AND N.D.)

In April, June, and September, 1987, a great-grandson of Sidney Clarke, H. Thomas Douglas, and his son, Paul Clarke Douglas, contributed three groups of photocopies to the Carl Albert Center Archives to be added to the Sidney Clarke Collection.  These include copies of materials which they have in their possession or which they have located elsewhere.  Included are copies of correspondence, military papers, and real estate papers.  The correspondents include Rutherford B. Hayes, William J. Bryan, and Robert M. LaFollette. Further additions were made by Barbara Pulsford, 1998, and Paul Clarke Douglas, 1999.
