Frank Lucas press release about the Murrah Building bombing Frank Lucas speaking to members of Future Farmers of America
Elected in a special election in 1994, Frank D. Lucas (R-OK, 1994-) has a conservative voting record but with an eye to practicality.  Because the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was located in Lucas’s district (before the 2002 redistricting), the congressman was a strong proponent of legislation, such as the 1995 antiterrorism bill, concerning the bombing. As a farmer-rancher, Lucas is especially interested in programs which would aid Oklahoma agriculture.  In the photo above, Lucas visits with members of the Future Farmers of America.
