James O. Hood III Collection

37 pins and buttons

This collection contains thirty-seven buttons and pins, mostly from presidential, gubernatorial, and congressional campaigns dating from the turn of the century to 1980. There are buttons from the inauguration of Oklahoma's first governor in 1907 as well as from the failed convention to create a state called Sequoyah in eastern Oklahoma.
