History: On November 24, 1997, Will Muir created this site, later moving it to Geocities. After Will resigned from the Oklahoma Writing Project Governing Board, that board decided that the website should be managed by someone on that board. Sandra Effinger took over the site, temporarily housing at an Internet Oklahoma address. As of May 25, 1999, the Oklahoma Writing Project has this home at the University of Oklahoma. Shelbie Witte took over this website on August 1, 2001,to May 13, 2003. Sandra Effinger then served website manager from May 2003 until May 2008.  Suzie Sells is the current website manager.
