Electronic File Transfer

Digital documents and graphics can be exchanged over the university network by placing files into shared servers.

 Printing Services Drop Server    

Connecting to UPSDIGITAL.

The composition file server is named UPSDIGITAL and is located on the network in the Sooner domain. You may log on as your 4x4 and create a folder to deposit files in. Below are specific instructions for PC or MAC.

Windows 2000/XP

Select: My Network Places on the Desktop or from the Start Menu / My Network Places
Select: Add Network Place
Type the Location of the Network Place: Type in \\129.15.90.250\incoming
click: Next
click: Finsh
Under My Network Places you should have a folder called imcoming on UPSDIGITAL double click that.
You can now drag and drop your projects folder on to our server.

You may also go to Start / Run then type in \\UPSDIGITAL\incoming and hit ok. To connect to the server.

Mac OS X

From the desktop go to the Go Menu and select Connect to Server.
In the Server Address: type in smb://129.15.90.250 then click Connect.
It will ask you to login change the Name field to your 4x4 and type in your 4x4 password in the password field then click ok.
It will then ask you to select a Volume select Imcoming from the drop down menu then click ok.
You will now have a Volume on your desktop called IMCOMING.
You can now drag and drop your projects folder on to our server.

FTP Transfers

If you are not on the campus network you will need to use our FTP server to transfer your files to us. Web broswers such has Internet Explorer 7, Firefox and Safari all have trouble with FTP transfers. We ask that you use a FTP client to access the FTP below are some recommand free FTP cleints for both PC and MAC.

Recommand FTP Clients: PC FileZilla / Mac CyberDuck

UPS DIGITAL IP Address 129.15.90.250

USERNAME: printjob (one word lower case)

PASSWORD: 1print (one word lower case)

To send files to the Norman Campus Copy Centers, please use our new Digital Storefront.



You can upload your documents, preview, choose printing and finishing options, and check on your job status. Your jobs will be processed through the Crimson and Cream Copy Center in the Student Union or the Masscopy Center located at 1005 Asp Ave., Room 117 in Savoie Lottenville Hall. Sign up as a new user by pointing your web browser to http://129.15.90.18 (You must be on the Univeristy of Oklahoma backbone for this link to work.)
