Dr. Rambo will be sending an email out about this on the Anthropology
Department mailing list, but I wanted this to go out on the club list as
well.  This way, those of you who don't want to get anymore club emails will
get not one but two emails from us.  Bwa ha ha ha * evil laugh *   But yes,
after this you should be finished with us.

We are having trouble with the listserv and cannot add or remove names, so
if you wan to leave this list please do the following: send an email to
listserv@lists.ou.edu , leave the subject line blank, and in the body of the
email type:

signoff ouanthroclub

NB: please make sure that you send this email from the account that is
currently recieving the club emails, otherwise you'll just signoff an
account that was never on the list to begin with.


Now, for those of you on the list who wish to be on it, we will be having
our next meeting at 4:30 in the afternoon, Monday the 19th (a week from
today) in Dale Hall Tower 511.  For this next meeting I hope for everyone to
bring some ideas for Anthropology Club events.  The club exists to serve the
needs of Anthropology majors, so I would like to hear some ideas about what
kind of social events you want to hold, what kind of trips you want to take,
and what type of things you would like to participate in.  This is also very
important since we will be submitting a budget very soon and will need to
know what kind of things to plan for.  Some examples of things the club
could do would be host a Chilli Cook-off, a pie-eating contest, a trip to
Spiro Mounds, or participation in some of the cultural events in the area.
Bring your ideas thoughts and opinions to the meeting and we will see what
we can do.
