Since its
establishment on the University of Oklahoma campus in 1967, The Zeta Zeta
Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity has fully lived up to being "first
of all, servants of all, we shall transcend all." Maintaining the
full balance of community service, campus activities, academics, and social
omnipotence on campus. This chapter has proven to the University of Oklahoma
and Alpha men around the world that they are the college of friendship,
the university of brotherly love, and the school for the better making
of men.

Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Psi Chapter
The Kappa Psi chapter
of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was chartered on July 1, 1976 on the
campus of the University of Oklahoma. Although Kappa Psi was founded on
a predominantly Caucasian campus, persistence and hard work have enabled
Alpha Kappa Alpha to make an impact on the University of Oklahoma and
Norman community.
Kappa
Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Omega Chapter
Kappa Alpha Psi
was founded on January 5, 1911 on the campus of Indiana University in
Bloomington, Indiana by ten illustrious founders. Our motto is "Achievement
in Every Field of Human Endeavor." The Zeta Omega chapter was chartered
on the Norman campus of the University of Oklahoma on April 14, 1973 by
ten incredible men. The chapter presents many events and activities, from
our monthly "Kraettli Kids" community service project to our
annual "Champagne Kampaign" held in the spring. We also encompass
the university as a whole in many leadership positions, both faculty/staff
and student positions. Our current Polemarch (President) is Brother Anthony
Anderson.
Omega
Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Pi Delta Chapter
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was
founded on Friday November 12, 1911 at Theirkield Hall Old Science Hall,
Howard University by three great men - Frank Coleman, Oscar Cooper, Edgar
Love, and their Faculty Advisor, Dr. Ernest Just. Omega was the
first Black fraternity established on the campus of a Historically Black
University.
Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Chapter
The Kappa
Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on April
15th, 1973 on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. Prompted by the
need for leadership and excellence, nine dedicated women sought to uphold
the vision of The Original 22.They understood that they were of the elite
and that the concerns of the community was theirs to shoulder.
Phi
Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Xi Delta Chapter
The Xi Delta Chapter
of Phi Beta Sigma was founded March 26th, 1982, and has served the communities
of Norman, and Oklahoma City. Through their three principles, brotherhood,
scholarship, and service, they try to achieve their motto, the vision
of their chief architect, A. Langston Taylor, "Culture for service,
and service for humanity."
Zeta
Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Theta Mu Chapter
The Theta Mu chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, organized
on March 18, 1983, at the University of Oklahoma, continuously strives
to promote the ideals of the most honorable founders. Theta Mu sponsors
various programs annually, such as annual Zeta-Week, a Freshman Scholarship,
People's Choice Awards, and the Blue Revue Talent Show with the brothers
of Phi Beta Sigma, which is an annual campus highlight.
Sigma
Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Lambda Upsilon Chapter
The Lambda Upsilon
Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority was established at the University
of Oklahoma on May 2, 1990. The chapter was chartered by nine sorors.
There had already been the presence of Sigma's at OU, with many young
women being previously brought through Gamma Eta - the Oklahoma City metro
undergraduate chapter. The need for growth was seen and the interest was
there, so Lambda Upsilon was born. These ladies and their subsequent inductees
went on to develop and continue annual events that promoted the national
slogan greater service, greater progress, sisterhood and fun.
Iota
Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Gamma Kappa Chapter
The Gamma Kappa
Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. was founded on August 17, 1997
by Clarence Baker. This talented brother was able to "Build a tradition
without resting upon one" as being part of the fraternity's first
brotherhood on the University of Oklahoma campus. Brother C.B. Baker established
history at the University of Oklahoma by founding The Gamma Kappa Chapter
of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc.; as one of the premier historically
black fraternities on it's campus. The Gamma Kappa chapter at the University
of Oklahoma continues to grow since its first appearance in the Fall of
1997.
