Association of Black Education Majors (ABEM)
Mission Statment: Our purpose is to 1) provide members with important information concerning the College of Education 2) maintain an academic relationship with the faculty in the College of Education 3) provide an outlet where education majors can discuss concerns 4) provide mentoring to incoming freshmen whose interest are education.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
Mission Statement: The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, suceed professionally and positively impact the community.

National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ)
Mission Statement: Our purpose is to serve as a liaison between the Black community and the media and to serve as a channel for networking as a support base for each member.

Angel Social Club
The Angel Social Club was founded at the University of Oklahoma on October 12, 1971. The charter members were Angela Bates and Gayla Bates. The Angel Social Club is the oldest organization on The University of Oklahoma campus primarily for African-American Women.
Mission Statement: Our purpose is to provide a sense of sisterhood to all young ladies on campus. In addition, to promote a friendly atmosphere to all people in the community and on campus. We also promote academic excellence.

GEMS Social Group
Our purpose is to create educated and unified sisters and promote unity within the community with community service.

Women of Power
Mission Statement: Our purpose is to aid in the retention of black female student by providing support and outreach. To build and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood between women of color on campus across organizational and sorority lines.

African American Artist Association (Foray)
Mission Statement: Providing members with important information concerning the opportunity to display personal and collective talent with the community. Maintain personal and academic relationships with other African American artists.

 * FAT holds meetings on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in Tarman Tower of Adams Center Dormitory. Contact Eowyn Hamilton-Craig for more information.

 * NABJ holds meetings on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in Room 246 of Copeland Hall. Contact Ashley Gibson for more informatoin.

 * ABEM holds meetings on Thurdays at 8:00 p.m. in Oklahoma Memorial Union Food Court. Contact Trinity Price for more information.
