Welcome to Hillel at University of Oklahoma
The Hillel Foundation at OU is a pluralistic home for Jewish students from all backgrounds, as well as for non-Jewish students interested in learning about Judaism and supporting the campus Jewish community. Our goal is to provide a warm and nurturing atmosphere for Jewish exploration, celebration and growth for undergraduates and graduate students, as well as faculty and staff from the University. Our programming is based on a model of student leadership, and the tone of the institution is set by the Hillel Jewish Student Organization officers. We offer Jewish resources and programming of all kinds, as well as a full array of holiday celebrations and commemorations. We want to be your Jewish "home away from home!"
The Hillel Foundation at OU is part of Hillel International, and is supported by the Jewish Federations of Greater Oklahoma City and Tulsa, annual grants, gifts from area family foundations, the Hillel Foundation endowment, and on-going donations and contributions from parents, alumni and friends. Please see the “giving” section of this website for information on how you can support the important work of the Hillel Foundation at OU!
