The Honor Student Association (H.S.A.) at the University of Oklahoma ensures student input into the programs and policies of the Honors College. The organization promotes healthy debate and knowledge at the university while encouraging its members to strive for academic excellence. By helping fellow students, working with the Honors College administration, and performing community service, the H.S.A. is an important and growing student organization at the University of Oklahoma.

Meetings
The H.S.A. holds general meetings every two weeks on Tuesday nights at 7:30, usually in Honors classroom 180. Various committees meet between these general meetings. Students also participate in volunteer programs and campus activities outside of these times.
Membership
Every student enrolled in the Honors College at OU holds membership in the H.S.A. If any student not in the Honors College wishes to join and shares the goals of the H.S.A. the student may be voted into the membership.
Currently there are no dues or fees to be an active member of the H.S.A.
Members determine their own level of involvement. Students may commit as much or as little time as they wish. The aim of the H.S.A. is to provide OU students with a means to become involved as they feel the need to.

The constitution of the H.S.A. is registered with the University of Oklahoma Student Association (UOSA). The constitution provides a framework for the organization. To view it as a web page or as a MS Word file, go to the constitution page.
