Resolution Submission
Resolutions are to be submitted by e-mail to: alogan at ou dot edu.
*They must be submitted in Microsoft word(.doc) or Rich Text Format(.rtf) only.
Resolutions must be submitted in proper form - Please refer to the handbook or the sample resolution below. If resolutions are not submitted in the "proper" format, THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Instructions For Adding Line Numbers to Resolutions in MS Word
•First type your resolution without numbers. Do not manually add numbers.
•Click on the "File" menu and choose "Print Preview". You can only view the line numbers in print preview mode.
•Click on the "File" menu and choose "Page Setup".
•Click on the "layout" tab.
•Click the button labeled "Line numbers" and check the box labeled "Add line numbering".
•Click "ok" and then click "ok" again.
•Press the "Esc" button to exit print preview mode.
•Highlight the text at the top of your document that you do not want line numbers on.
•Click on the "Format" menu and choose "Paragraph".
•Click on the "Line and Page Breaks" tab.
•Check the box labeled "Suppress Line Numbers" and click "ok".
•Click on the "File" menu and choose "Print Preview". You can now see that your line numbers start further down the page.
