ICT Warmup Information
What is the ICT Warmup?
The ICT Warmup, also known as the Fake Intercollegiate Championship Tournament Experiment, is a tournament to prepare teams for the NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Tournament. The questions will be at Division I level, and the tournament will be conducted under NAQT rules, including playing timed matches.
Essential Information about the ICT Warmup
- Date: Saturday, April 5, 2008
- Time: Registration begins at 8:30 AM, and the tournament begins at 9:00 AM.
- Location: Kaufman Hall (link to campus map)
- Questions: supplied by Matt Weiner and Jerry Vinokurov
- Eligibility: open (anyone may participate)
- Fees:
- Base Fee: $90 per team
- Buzzer System Discount: -$5 per working buzzer system
- Staff Discount: -$15 per volunteer (either a moderator or scorekeeper)
- Clock Discount: -$5 per functional clock like one used at a timed NAQT match
- Travel Discount: -$15 for traveling at least 200 miles (all distances are one-way and as determined by Google Maps)
- Minimum Fee: $60 per team

Contact David Gagne at djgagne@ou.edu to register. When you register, please provide how many teams, buzzer systems, and staff members that your school will bring. The registration deadline is Wednesday, April 2, 2008.
