ICT Warmup Information

What is the ICT Warmup?

The ICT Warmup, also known as the Fake Intercollegiate Championship Tournament Experiment, is a tournament to prepare teams for the NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Tournament. The questions will be at Division I level, and the tournament will be conducted under NAQT rules, including playing timed matches.

Essential Information about the ICT Warmup

• Date: Saturday, April 5, 2008
• Time: Registration begins at 8:30 AM, and the tournament begins at 9:00 AM.
• Location: Kaufman Hall (link to campus map)
• Questions: supplied by Matt Weiner and Jerry Vinokurov
• Eligibility: open (anyone may participate)
• Fees:
  • Base Fee: $90 per team
  • Buzzer System Discount: -$5 per working buzzer system
  • Staff Discount: -$15 per volunteer (either a moderator or scorekeeper)
  • Clock Discount: -$5 per functional clock like one used at a timed NAQT match
  • Travel Discount: -$15 for traveling at least 200 miles (all distances are one-way and as determined by Google Maps)
  • Minimum Fee: $60 per team
