Welcome to the website of the Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society at the University of Oklahoma! SCAMS is an organization dedicated to all students interested in meteorology at OU. Members do not have to be meteorology students to be involved. JOINING SCAMS Joining SCAMS is really easy. Simply attend any meeting. Dates and times for the meetings are posted on this webpage as well as around Sarkeys Energy Center. Dues for SCAMS are $5 per year. Once this due is paid, you are a member of SCAMS as well as COCAMS, the Central Oklahoma Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. COCAMS frequently holds their meetings on either the OU campus(usually in Sarkeys) or at the National Weather service office in Norman. BENEFITS There are many great reasons to join SCAMS!
