Black Student March

The Black Student Association is here to build a community where students can share their successes and stresses, participate in social events and leadership experiences, and engage in the broader community through service. We aim to create an enjoyable college experience for all.

The Black Student Association at OU welcomes all students to engage in programming reflective of our culture and history. We provide a welcoming enviroment for students to achieve academic and social success. Our goal is to create a network of members who connect culturally; in hopes of creating relationships which enhance their collegiate experiences. BSA also serves as an umbrella for various cultural and academic sutdent organizations to help serve the needs of OU students.

Becoming a member of BSA is simple! Below are the different avenues of becoming a BSA member:

  • Serve on an event committee in any capacity (Mister & Miss Black OU, Stompdown, Welcome Black Weekend, etc..)
  • Be a member of any umbrella organization
  • Serve as an BSA Exec member
  • Come join us at our bi-weekly general assembly meetings

Feel free to email the BSA president, Breanna Hervey at breanna.m.hervey-1@ou.edu or the BSA Vice President, Daniel Enge at daniel.enge@ou.edu for any futher questions. Also, follow us on Twitter & Instagram @OUBSA1967
