Content Checklist

. Does site contain, current, positive, accurate, and up-to-date information?
. What is the objective of the site? Does all of the material I plan to include speak to that purpose?
. Have I thought about the purpose of the site from my audience's point of view?
. What information are my visitors looking for?
. Is there any information within the University of Oklahoma Web site that I can link to that would help my visitors (calendars, maps, etc.)?
. Have I answered the questions that a visitor may have?
. Have I had someone proofread my copy? Do they understand it?
. Have I duplicated any information that is already on the University of Oklahoma Web site? Could I link to that instead?
. Have I made a note to update this information or remove it if it becomes obsolete?
. If I am linking to external sources, are they up-to-date? Are they appropriate?
. Does the list include a list of the faculty or staff in my department?
. Is department contact information prominently displayed?
. Is the content in the format of Quick Reads and/or Calls to Action?
. Is there a process to manage the developing information for the site?
. Does the OU logo appear on all pages with a link back to the OU home page?
. Is there a title tag on all pages of your Web site?
. Are there meta tags in the head of my document that provide a description and keywords about the site?
