The Department of Sustainability's student representatives work to engage all OU students in campus-wide sustainability efforts. As UOSA's newest department, the Department of Sustainability is eager for student input and project suggestions.

Operated by Facilities Management, OU Refuse and Recycling coordinates all pick ups and processing for recyclable materials. A list of accepted materials is available here. To make special requests or order recycling containers, call 405.325.8068 or e-mail recycling@ou.edu.

 

Sustainability Committee - 405.325.5161


Comprised of OU faculty, staff and students, the purpose of the OU Sustainability Committee is specifically NOT to conflict with the work of existing environmental groups across campus, such as the Environmental Concerns Committee, OUr Earth and similar groups and organizations. The Sustainability Committee's purpose is to serve as an advisory body chiefly working to accomplish the steps set forth by the ACUPCC. For more information, please call 405.325.5161.
