Master of Human Relations

A Master of Arts in Human Relations from OU-Tulsa focuses on learning and applying culturally competent knowledge and skills to the complex array of contemporary challenges and opportunities facing people, organizations, and society today.

What is Human Relations?

“We prepare students for leadership and practice opportunities within a broad range of human and social services.”

Human Relations is a professional field that encompasses organizational leadership, social advocacy, and community mental health. The trans-disciplinary and practical nature of a Human Relations degree enables students to study a flexible program leading to multiple applications in today's competitive work market. 

Based on core principles that support the resolution of conflict and development of personal growth, Human Relations professionals have the skills to promote collaboration and cooperation within organizations and interpersonal dynamics by supporting effective and inclusive relationships in a rapidly changing social landscape.
