This year marks the 22nd year of OU’s Campus Campaign, which officially begins March 1 and runs through June 30. During the past two decades, faculty and staff support of the campaign has provided nearly $30 million for a variety of programs, colleges and departments as well as scholarships for deserving OU students.

At OU-Tulsa, we are excited to see what happens when our generosity unites during the 2014 Campus Campaign and we are ALL IN, ALL HEART. Members of the OU-Tulsa family can support this year’s campaign and be ALL IN through:

“Ghost” Marathon Day, March 28:

Ghost Marathon t-shirt order

Your gift of $12 to $15 enters you in this “invisible” race, gets you a great looking T-shirt, and counts as your participation. (This is strictly a fundraising event; no running is involved.) Ghost Marathon Day is March 28. Click here to order your shirt online.  (Tulsa orders must be placed by March 19th to ensure delivery.)

Payroll Deduction:

With payroll deduction, gifts can be made over a convenient number of pay periods starting July 1.  Click here for the form.  A list of OU-Tulsa specific accounts can be referred to here

A One-Time Gift:

Make a one-time cash gift by filling out the pledge card in the Campus Campaign materials you will receive in the mail in March.  You may also make your gift online here.

Jeans “Spirit” Pass:

You can purchase a monthly pass that offers you the privilege to wear jeans to work on each Friday in April, May and/or June!  Passes are $10 per month.   You must ask your supervisor for permission to participate in this program. A “Spirit” Pass Order Form was enclosed in your Campus Campaign materials and can also be found here

Online Auction, April 7-10:

Get registered and get ready to bid! Check out our auction site as we continue to add many exciting items. Faculty/staff participation in last year’s auction generated $18,000 for student scholarships! (A valid e-mail address and credit card number are required for registration purposes only. Nothing will be charged to your card. Auction items are not eligible for payroll deduction.)

Scholarships are a top priority at OU-Tulsa, as many of the students who attend this campus are non-traditional students, balancing an education with jobs and families.  Scholarships can also be designated to assist OU School of Community Medicine students as they make a professional commitment to work with underserved populations.

Through a planned or deferred gift, donors can reach across the generations to touch the future of OU and its students. A donor may make his or her gift unrestricted so that it can be used in an area where it is needed most, or may designate the gift to benefit a favorite college, department, or academic or athletic program.

Planned gifts are as unique as each individual who makes one and may be tailored in a way that best serves the donor's needs, objectives, and wishes, as well as those of OU.

To learn more about planned giving, visit the OU Office of Gift and Estate Planning website here.

From April through June of each year, OU Campus Campaign raises funds for a variety of programs near and dear to faculty and staff hearts. Because the OU family always responds so generously to this effort, we are able to help support scholarships, academic programs, colleges and departments.  Please stay tuned for details regarding future OU Campus Campaign giving opportunities.
