FAQs

OU Reserve is the online space reservation platform for the University of Oklahoma campuses.

If you are using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a desktop, follow the steps listed in this OU Help Guide. The web app is also supported on Firefox and Safari.

All university employees are automatically added to their department as listed on their OU HR file.

All members associated with a Registered Student Organization on the OU Engage platform will automatically have this organization available as part of their OU Reserve account.

The desired Group should be selected during the Creating a Reservation Process.

Cancellations may be made up until the minimum booking time for that reservation template.  Refer to Cancelling a Reservation for more details.

For any additional questions, you may reach out to the managing department of the space you reserved or reply to any reservation confirmation you received.

 

Not all reservation templates allow for recurring meetings. Check the template information to see if this is available.

*If you are on a mobile device, you may need to use a desktop to view the Recurrence option

The time and location you are choosing is already reserved by another group. You will not be able to reserve at this specific date and time.

The time you are choosing is not open during the entire time. Select a new time or email scheduling@ou.edu for outside normal hour booking details.

Your account is tied to your OU credentials.

If you are still having issues, fill out the Account Help form.

This may happen for 2 different reasons:

  1. The space has already been reserved by another group and is not available.
    • Action: you will need to choose another space or another time.
  2. The space you are trying to reserve is not configured to support the setup style you selected.
    • Action: Change the setup type in your search criteria.
    • To view details and setup types for a specific room, click on the room name. Your attendance and selected setup type must align with the Setup Type Capacities listed here.

Managing departments of that space should reach out to you about your request within 2 business days.
