free, certified academic assistance
The Student Learning Center, a department of University College (UC), offers free tutoring sessions through UC Action. This nationally, CRLA Certified service offers walk-in, small group appointments, online tutoring, and/or faculty directed sessions to help students take action towards their own academic success. See below for details and schedules.
UC Action begins each semester during the 2nd week of classes but is closed for University/Student Holidays and weather closings. Schedules are posted here at the beginning of each semester. UC Action sessions are offered mostly at Wagner Hall (1005 Asp Avenue, southeast of the Union) and the Housing Learning Center (Adams Center, Muldrow Tower, room 105), with modern language tutoring at the Language Learning Center (Kaufman Hall 228).
