      Career Tests
      Not sure what you want to do for your career? Undecided on your major? We offer several free career tests for OU students. These will help narrow down certain career interests based on your aptitudes, skills, values, and interests. 

      SIGI-3

      Use SIGI 3 to explore possible careers and majors that match your specific interests, skills and values. Click here to learn more about SIGI. Before you begin exploring, complete the following steps:

      1. Connect to SIGI by click the linking above.
      2. Type in your user name and password. Your user-name will be sooner/your 4x4 (e.g. sooner/soon1234) and your password will be your OU Net ID Password.
      3. Once you get past this security gateway, you must set up a new account with whatever user-name and password you choose.

      OKCIS

      The Oklahoma Career Information System (OKCIS) combines a wealth of career, education, and labor market information into one comprehensive, easy-to-use career exploration tool. To access OKCIS:

      1.You must initially use the User Name: OKu and the Password: okcis621 to log on.
      2. Once you are logged in you MUST create a new profile. Click on 'My Profile' at the top of the screen and proceed to create your profile. This will allow you to return to the results of your research at a later time. Click here to start.


      Discover

      Use the Discover to compare majors and careers. You must have a log on token to begin this free career assessment. For those students enrolled in a University College (UCOL) course, check with your instructor for directions. For all other students, follow the steps below to begin the Discover program:

      1. You will need a logon token (access code) to set up your account. If you have already been issued a logon, go to step 3 below.
      2. To receive a logon token (access code), e-mail your NAME and SOONER ID# to alc@ou.edu - please type "logon token" as the subject - and the code will be sent to the account from which you sent the e-mail.
      3. Once you have received a token, go to www.act.org/discover/login and begin the journey.
