FOOD SERVICES

Meals are available at the University of Oklahoma Biological Station upon arrangement. Prepared by the station’s staff, meals (e.g. breakfast, lunch and dinner) are served cafeteria-style in the large air-conditioned dining hall.

The dining room has a seating capacity of approximately 109 persons. Larger groups dine in shifts. 

Dinner and lunch menus normally include a salad bar, soup if desired, one entree, homemade bread, choice of vegetable, dessert, fresh fruit and beverages. Menus can be customized according to the needs of the group.

Picnics, banquets or refreshments can also be arranged and served from the pavilion or dining hall. Specialties include fried catfish, smoked brisket, self-serve deli bar, manicotti, charcoal grilled hamburgers/hot dogs and charcoal grilled T-bone/rib eye steaks (add $1.25/per person for steak).

  • OU Summer Session:  $21.00
  • Children under 12 years of age:  $18.00
  • Educational Groups - high school and younger:  $21.00
  • University/Professional Conference Groups - University age and older:  $25.50
  • OU Faculty/Staff/Alumni Recreational Groups:  $25.50

PER MEAL PRICES:

  • $18.00 a day rate:  breakfast $5.00; lunch $6.00; dinner $7.00
  • $21.00 a day rate:  breakfast $5.50; lunch $7.00; dinner $8.50
  • $25.50 a day rate:  breakfast $7.00; lunch $8.50; dinner $10.00
  • Continental breakfast: $4.25

  • Meat and Cheese Tray:  $75.00 (serves 60); $50.00 (serves 40); $25.00 (serves 20)
  • Deli Tray:  $75.00 (serves 60); $50.00 (serves 40); $25.00 (serves 20)
  • Fresh Fruit Tray:  $90.00 (serves 60); $60.00 (serves 40); $30.00 (serves 20)

All prices are subject to change, please confirm by contacting the station directly. Meal reservations can be made at the time of scheduling a visit. A guaranteed number of attendees is required at least one week prior to a scheduled visit.
