Scholarship Application - pdf file
The Loren G. Hill Biological Station Endowment has been providing scholarships for students attending summer session classes at the University of Oklahoma Biological Station. Thanks to the Friends of the University of Oklahoma Biological Station, additional scholarship funding sources have been established. These scholarship funds include: Biological Station Scholarship, Carl Riggs and Pat Bynum Riggs Scholarship, Dr. Harley P. Brown Scholarship, Friends of the University of Oklahoma Biological Station Endowed Scholarship, Joy Brown Catron Scholarship Fund, Barbara Shirley Scholarship and Homer F. Timmons Scholarship. These scholarships help defray the costs of tuition and are primarily merit based, but financial need is also taken into consideration. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher will be considered first. Scholarship applications will not be processed without the required names and contact information of two references and disclosure of previous assistance received.
One scholarship application may be submitted to apply for both sessions. Scholarship decisions are made solely by the UOBS Scholarship Committee.
