      Vote November 11-12

Congress elections will take place Tuesday, November 11 and Wednesday, November 12. Be sure to vote for the students who will be representing the voice of the OU student body.

      Parking Survey

Commuter parking is constantly an issue on the OU campus. UOSA is sending out a survey via email to get feedback from OU students on the commuter parking situation. Check your emails and fill out the survey so that UOSA will know best how to serve you and fulfill your parking needs.

      Duck Pond Parking

Did you know that the parking near the duck pond on the east side of campus has large amount of open spots every day? Yes, it is true—it is possible to go to the University of Oklahoma and not have to search for parking on a daily basis—and its not even far from campus. Did you know that the walk from the duck pond to Price Business College is only 5 minutes and 35 seconds? For those of you who are book enthusiasts, the walk to the library is a mere 7 minutes and 45 seconds. Those of you with classes at the Physical Science center can get there in just over 11 minutes, and all of you in Dale Hall can get there in about 9 minutes. Health and fitness also provide more reasons to park at the duck pond. At an average of 5 calories a minute, you can burn off some serious calories walking from the duck pond—probably enough to add dessert to your day. Now really, who wouldn’t want to add some sweets into their day? So if you park at the duck pond, you can get mostly anywhere in under 10 minutes and start eating dessert--sounds like a great idea!
