THANKS FOR A GREAT SEMESTER! - The primary process legislation has passed the Senate, and will be heard by Congress tonight. Then, the President will sign it. If everything works out, the primary numbers should be official very soon! Please contact uosabudget@ou.edu if you have any questions. - The emergency process is closed for the semester. It generally takes at least three weeks for an emergency allocation bill to pass through the Budgetary Committee, Undergraduate Congress, and the Graduate Senate. Thus, it would be impractical and nearly impossible to allocate funds with only weeks remaining in the semester. Please contact uosabudget@ou.edu if you have any questions. Student Organizations, Thank you so much for a great semester. Although I wasn't expecting to be Budget Chair in January (and we definitely hit a few bumps in the road!), I firmly believe the semester went as smoothly as possible. However, we would love to hear your input! Please contact uosabudget@ou.edu with your questions, comments, or suggestions. We changed the primary process A LOT this semester, and we want to continue to make positive changes which benefit student groups. Thank you again, and it has been an absolute honor to serve and advocate for student organizations. Sincerely, John W. Jennings UOSA Budget Chair This site is intended to be a financial resource for students and Student Organizations at OU. This site will contain complete, but simple instructions for registered Student Organizations to apply for and use the funding that is available through UOSA. Additionally, we wish to make it as easy as possible for students to understand what happens to their fees once they have paid them, so we'll put as much information as possible to show you where that money goes. Please feel free to ask any questions you have. You can reach us by email at uosabudget@ou.edu or by phone at (405) 325-5471. |
