It’s the job of the UOSA Executive Branch to make things happen for students. In particular, it’s our job to provide student services on behalf of the UOSA, execute UOSA law, and advocate for the position of the students.
The UOSA Executive Branch is made up of five departments:
· The Executive Office of the President– Supports the UOSA President and Vice President.
· The Department of Academics– Provides peer mentoring, coordinates the UOSA tutoring database, and supervises the UOSA Honor Council.
· The Department of the Association—Advocates for the position of the UOSA and the interests of the students.
· The Department of Student Organizations—Runs and promotes the Conoco Student Leadership Center and the Student Organization Resource Office, which helps clubs plan events and checks out equipment to clubs.
· The Department of Student Resources—Coordinates a free textbook library and bicycle check-out.
