How Do You Become a Member?

Becoming a member is as simple as attending a meeting or volunteering at an event. You show up, and you’re in! Show up a few times and you’ll get a T-shirt and more FREE stuff. We have open meetings every other Wednesday night at 9 p.m. in the Union. Come by whenever you like to learn more and get involved, whether it’s the very first meeting of the year or the last. You determine your level of involvement.

Involvement with Options

Join A Committee

Getting involved with a UPB Committee means you will help to plan an upcoming UPB event. Each event uses a committee to brainstorm the different facets of the event including activities, production, promotion, and more!

Getting involved with a committee is a commitment to planning a UPB event. This commitment includes planning different elements of the event and committing to attend weekly committee meetings. This is a great way to take your leadership to the next level.

To join a committee, sign up here!

D.O.E. Teams

By being a part of a Day of Execution (D.O.E.) Team, you are actively contributing to one of the most important parts to making our events as best ast they can be.

D.O.E. Teams are created for each event in order to help execute important tasks and needs on the day of the event. D.O.E. team members will have the opportunity to manage different areas of an event, depending on the style of the event.

To get more informaiton about specific jobs associated with D.O.E. Teams for each event, sign up on the form below.

Join the UPB Team

By joining the Union Programming Board, you're joining a different kind of programming group. We not only bring concerts, movies and social activities but also work with other campus organizations to bring national speakers, leadership seminars and other developmental opportunities. If you want to help out with something as simple as serving popcorn before our free movies or perhaps create and plan a new event for the OU campus, we'll help you find your place.
