ABOUT the UNION PROGRAMMING BOARD The Union Programming Board (UPB) is a dynamic student-run organization dedicated to providing diverse programs in the student union for the University of Oklahoma community. Instead of offering only one large event or focusing on a narrow programming goal, we bring a wide variety of programs to campus. We do movies, seminars, crafts, sports-related events, casino nights, cultural festivals... and so much more. At UPB, there are no applications to fill out, no dues to pay, no waiting for a leadership opportunity. You want in? You're in! You determine your level of involvement from Day 1. Some people choose to serve volunteers at our events, some choose to serve on a committee to plan an event and some come in with a specific idea for an event and we help them make it happen. The path you choose is up to you. We want you to benefit from UPB. You might benefit by blowing up balloons for an event or by starting an annual community-wide event hosted in the Union. You can get involved by helping us plan and implement these programs or by just kicking back and enjoying the programs we present. Either way, we're happy to have you. Always Something! We're a fun student group that puts on all sorts of events in the Union. Events Include: Nite at the Union Bevo Burger Bash As Seen on TV Back-to-School Bingo Casino Night Chocolate Factory Comedy Fight Night Craft Factory Crawfish Boil Drive-In Movie on the Law Festival of Trees Foam Party Hanging of the Greens Retro Nite SOONER IDOL Turkey Bowling Football Watch Parties Miss University of Oklahoma Pageant New Released Movies Every Friday and much much more... |
