Coiled Tubing Consortium : A number of industry service providers have teamed to established a consortium to develop correlations for frictional losses and rheology on non-Newtonian fluids and foams pumped through reeled and straight coiled tubing. The consortium focuses on frictional pressure losses for drilling, completion, and stimulation fluids; developing engineering and design correlations; and evaluating rheology of fluids and foams as a function of shear rate and temperature.
