The Emotional Brain is the Topic of July's Neuro Night Forum

Improving neurological health through education, research and access to care will be the topic of July’s Neuro Night forum.

Improving neurological health through education, research and access to care will be the topic of July’s Neuro Night forum, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at the Fountains at Canterbury, 1404 N.W. 122nd St. A light dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.

During the event, members of the community will have an opportunity to speak directly with experts in the topic presented and discover the cutting edge of research and clinical practice in this area. The forum is part of the Neuro Night series sponsored by the Oklahoma Center for Neuroscience, a consortium of neuroscientists from across the state that serves as a research center and information resource at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

The forum will include a panel of three:
· William Reiner, M.D., professor, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Department of Urology, OU Health Sciences Center
· Gene Hallford, Ph.D., research assistant professor, Department of Pediatrics, OU Health Sciences Center
· Britta Ostermeyer, M.D., professor and chairman, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, OU Health Sciences Center
