Health Screenings and Services
OU Wellness has partnered with OU Physicians, OU Health Services, OU Medicine, Cigna and Delta Dental to offer a wide range of health screenings and services on campus.
OU Wellness has joined with OU Physicians to offer on-campus biometric screenings to benefits eligible OU employees in Norman (employees at .5 FTE and above, with OU Cigna health insurance). Your biometric screening measures your height and weight, blood pressure, body mass composition, blood glucose and cholesterol along with BMI, body fat percentage, triglycerides and waist circumference. The screening will be followed by a comprehensive Health Risk Assessment questionnaire and a one-to-one consult with a credentialed provider. Knowing your numbers is an important step in staying healthy!
Once you’ve attended a biometric screening, check it off on your Wellness portal and earn 700 points!

Things to Remember
Please bring your Cigna insurance card to your screening.
Fasting required. For accurate blood glucose and cholesterol results, do not eat or drink anything besides water during the eight hours before your screening.
Blood Pressure Screenings
OU Wellness has partnered with OU Health Services and the Goddard Health Center to offer free blood pressure screenings once a month on both the Research campus and the central Norman campus.

Regular dental exams help protect your oral health and general well-being. A dental exam gives your dentist a chance to provide tips on caring for your teeth and to detect any problems early — when they're most treatable.
OU Wellness has partnered with Delta Dental to provide on-campus dental screenings. Screenings will be held again in October. Check back for registration information.
Health Services/Goddard Health Center
OUHS offers the convenience of an on-campus location and the commitment of a high-quality primary care staff to students, faculty, staff and their dependents.
The mission of OU Health Services is to support the academic goals of the University community by delivering high quality health care and prevention education.
The clinic staff consists of board-certified, licensed physicians, physician assistants, a nurse practitioner and medical assistants offering a full spectrum of care in family medicine, sports medicine, and disease prevention and treatment. OUHS is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Appointments may be scheduled in advance or a walk-in option for urgent care conditions is also available.
As an affirmation to the OU community of our commitment to high quality, efficient primary care, OUHS is currently accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). OUHS received its first accreditation in 1997 and has been re-accredited every three years since.
The members of the OUHS medical staff must comply with OUHS credentialing procedures that verify education, training, and licensure. The OUHS administration reviews and approves the scope of practice to insure that the provider's services are appropriate with his/her level of training and expertise. Additional information regarding the credentialing process at OUHS can be obtained by contacting administrative offices.

- Goddard: Appointment required. Goddard offers a private room for your screening and the option to meet with a health coach to discuss your results. Schedule an appointment.
- Sarkeys Fitness Center: No appointment necessary.
OU Wellness offers the InBody Experience once a month on both the Research campus and central Norman campus. At these events you can have your results analyzed by an InBody expert. Check the Wellness Calendar for upcoming events.
The OU Medicine Breast Health Network’s Mobile Mammography unit will be on the Norman campus April 23 and 24 to perform mammograms. To sign-up call 1-800-422-4626, ext. 49760 or 49761. Cigna provides 100% coverage for annual mammograms for women starting at age 40. For women ages 35-39, Cigna provides 100% coverage for one baseline mammogram.
