Students will have many opportunities to practice new writing strategies, find feedback, and revise papers.

Expository Writing (Expo 1213/1223)

Students will study and practice the craft of writing through a series of sequenced writing assignments. Each section explores a particular topic area through reading and writing and students are invited to choose their topic-based section. First year students who have been exempted from the requirement of a 1200-level writing course may sign up for EXPO 1223, which signifies that the student will receive lower division Western Civilization and Culture credit.
