Wendy Pharr , M.A.

Sooner Scholar

Mrs. Wendy Marie Pharr, from Detroit, Michigan, enters The University of Oklahoma’s Special Education doctoral program as a Sooner Scholar. Mrs. Pharr holds a Master’s degree in School Administration and a Bachelors degree in Mild to Moderate disabilities from Northeastern State University (NSU). She maintained a 4.0 GPA while at NSU, and was a very active member of the Student Council for Exceptional Children, Kappa Delta Pi, and the International Honor Society in Education. Mrs. Pharr has worked as a Behavior Coach for Tulsa Public Schools and as a special education teacher for Broken Arrow Public Schools. Her research interests include applied transition education and behavioral interventions for students with disabilities.
