Look up your Sooner ID at http://account.ou.edu. People new to OU who have not activated their account will need to go to that site, click on the link “Activate your account here” and follow the instructions to activate their account. People who have already activated their account are Existing Users and can simply log in with their OU Net ID and password.

The University of Oklahoma is committed to protect personal information and deter identity theft, and one part of this commitment was the implementation of the Sooner ID project. The purpose of the Sooner ID project was to eliminate the use of Social Security number as a student ID number.
